Getting to Hudson

Thanks so much for making the journey to celebrate with us. We absolutely love this town and hope you will too!

Travel from New York City:
  • Driving: Estimated driving time is 2-2.5 hours, unless you are driving during rush hour, which could mean a 3+ hour drive. Please take that into consideration!
  • Amtrak: There are several daily trains to Hudson (HUD), departing from both Newark Airport (EWR) and New York Penn Station (NYP). Estimated travel time is 3 hours. You can buy tickets online in advance here. One-way fares range from $50 - $100+, depending on when you buy. Buy early for cheaper rates.
Travel from out-of-town:
  • Fly into a New York City area airport, then either rent a car or take the Amtrak train to Hudson. Any NYC area airport is fine, however if you are driving straight from the airport, Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and LaGuardia Airport (LGA) are a bit closer and easier to navigate from.
  • Fly into Albany International Airport, then either take a taxi or rent a car to drive to Hudson. Estimated driving time is about 45-50 minutes. For Minnesota folks - Delta and American offer flights from MSP to ALB.

Recommended Stay: Airbnb

  • For our wedding weekend, we recommend booking a place to stay through AirBnB. Hudson is a small, quaint town with no large chain hotels. It's part of the charm! There are a few boutique hotels and B&B's, however these tend to be pricier and already booking up fast.
  • We put together a personalized AirBnB wish list to provide curated options for our guests (see "Visit Website" link below). This list shows all currently available places for our wedding weekend and is automatically updated as places are booked. As mentioned, Hudson is very popular in the fall so please book as soon as you can!
  • Most of the AirBnB's do have a 2 night minimum. While we hope you can spend the weekend with us, there are some options outside of town for a one night stay, if needed. Please see the "Outside Hudson" list.
If you have any questions or need assistance finding a place to stay, text us or email us at

  • Tiger House: Beautiful mansion turned into a small, 5-room, boutique hotel, including 1 suite. Note: Not accepting reservations until spring.
